Change the pixel dimensions of one or more images. Resize photos for a website, make a screenshot smaller or prepare a batch within the same width and height limits.

How to use this tool

  1. Add JPG, PNG or WebP files.
  2. Enter maximum width and height, then choose whether to keep the aspect ratio.
  3. Select the output format, process and check the resulting dimensions.

A checked example: from 1000 × 700 to 500 × 350 pixels

Bounds
500 × 500 px
Result
500 × 350 px

This is our own illustration. Keeping the aspect ratio fits its 1000 × 700 pixels inside 500 × 500 without distortion: the result is 500 × 350 pixels. The downloadable JPG was generated with ArchiYa at 90% quality.

The button prepares the file and settings. Review them and select “Process files” to repeat the test. Clear any selected files first.

Before you download

Keeping the aspect ratio fits the image inside the requested box without distortion. A 4000 × 2000 image fitted into 1000 × 1000 becomes 1000 × 500. If the option is disabled, exact dimensions are used and the image may be stretched.

Frequently asked questions

Can I resize a batch?

Yes. Up to 20 files and 100 MB total use the same settings.

Does enlarging improve a blurry photo?

No. Enlargement interpolates pixels but cannot restore missing detail.

Is transparency preserved?

Yes with PNG or WebP. JPG uses the selected background color.
