Before you download
JPG works well for photos without transparency. PNG preserves transparent backgrounds using lossless encoding. WebP supports transparency and adjustable compression. Changing format does not recover detail lost in the source image.

Can I convert PNG to JPG with a white background?
Yes. Choose JPG and select white as the background; JPG does not support transparency.
Are images uploaded to a server?

Are animated WebP files preserved?
